Alan Addy

Alan Addy passed away on June 2, 2023, at age 70. He is survived by his significant other, Betty Defilippo; son, Jason Addy (Brenda); daughters, Colleen Walters (Thomas) and Julie Francis, grandchildren Dakota, Raeanne, Mason, Samantha, Kristen, Claire, and Jade, sisters Catherine Yee and Carol Manka, brother Dennis Addy (Vikki), lifelong friends, Bruce Brossman and David Voss, and many other relatives and friends.

Alan was born on February 10, 1953, in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Alan graduated from Oak Creek High School in 1971.

He worked as an auto worker and retired from Chrysler in 2002.

His favorite pastime in later years was spending time with the love of his life, Betty, in their sunroom. He was a lifelong Packers fan and rarely missed a game. He enjoyed a good debate, especially about politics.

Alan's sense of humor was one of a kind, and he was a great chef.

Alan loved visiting and talking on the phone to his family and friends. The family was everything to Alan. Alan was a great father and grandfather. He was generous and always took care of everyone around him. Alan will be deeply missed.


A Celebration of Alan's Life will occur on THURSDAY, June 22, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Airport - 5890 South Howell Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53207.

Memorials can be made to Alan's children, Jason Addy or Colleen Walters.

Alan was always a good friend of mine, from grade school through high school, and beyond. He always had a smile on his face, he was always in a good mood, and he was always a good friend. And, I will miss him.
