My Big Fat United Planet
Five books. One Earth. One human family.
Debbie is writing a five-book series centered on one big question:
Can humanity learn to work together well enough to save our beautiful, fragile Earth?
Her books explore climate change, peace, world cooperation, human consciousness, democracy, technology, artificial intelligence, justice, and the human qualities of compassion, courage, curiosity and hope.
Her first book, My Big Fat United Planet: My Travels Around It and Creating a World Federation to Save It, combines stories from her travels around the world with her views on international cooperation and law.
Debbie says her goal is to make these enormous subjects understandable to ordinary people—and to imagine a future in which we see ourselves as one human family sharing one Earth.
The book has received endorsements from Bill Moyers, Andrew Bacevich, Noam Chomsky and others. Four additional books are in progress.
